The nasty weather didn’t keep the faithful from Let’s Do Trivia last Thursday. We had a great game with some interesting answers many times, but, managed a lot of amazing answers. In the first half, The Outsiders lead the way, but, everyone was very closely packed together. The same held true for the 2nd half as we had only a 3 point difference between 1st to last place. With aggressive wagering by all but Angry Raisins, who smartly wagered zero, The Outsiders finished 1st on the night with Angry Raisins in 2nd place. Another great night at Maple Dale Country Club, Lots more folks out to play the game and have some fun.  It started out with DPT Valentines pulling off the On Time Bonus best answer. But, then, The Outsiders, Q4, and, Copper Something Or Other started leading the pack.  Men Are Driving And, by halftime, they were tied for 1st place. In the 2nd half of the game, The Outsiders stayed hot and lead as we went into Final Bonus. Q4 fell off to 4th place behind The Men Are Driving Cause The Women Are Gettin’ Hammered and Angry Raisins. Copper Something Or Other fell hard to 6th place behind NY State Of Mind in 5th place. Copper Something Or Other wagered big on a correct answer in Final Bonus to move from 6th place to 1st for the night. The Men Are Driving Cause The Women Are Gettin’ Hammered and Angry Raisins both wagered conservatively and finished 2nd and 3rd respectively. It was another great night at Maple Dale Country Club, and, I was so glad to back for another game. Lots of folks out to play the game and have some fun.  Touch My Block started the game off on a fun start with a great On Time Bonus answer. Then, The Outsiders and The Proper Copper Chamber Pots took charge and, in a tie, lead the game at Halftime, just two points ahead of the 3rd place tied, Angry Raisins and NY State Of Mind. The second half of the game was wild and wooly with teams jockeying for position. As we got to Final Bonus, The Outsiders and The Proper Copper Chamber Pots managed to get back into a tie for first. John here! Thanks for putting up with me the last 2 weeks. Thursday night at Par & Plate delivered the kind of tight, slow‑burn thriller Maple Dale is becoming famous for. Eight teams, 42 players, and a scoreboard that refused to give anyone breathing room. By halftime, NY State of Minds and The Men Are Driving Because the Women Are Getting Hammered were locked in a 44–44 dead heat, with Nuclear Donuts and Swarming Hornets stalking just behind. The room had that perfect Maple Dale hum — relaxed, chatty, and just competitive enough to make every point feel earned. 😎 The second half turned into a grind‑it‑out chess match. NY State of Minds pulled ahead to 81 , with R.I.P Rich and Nuclear Donuts sitting at 75 apiece and waiting to pounce. But then came the final question… and the final question came for everyone . A clean sweep of incorrect answers across all eight teams — a rare Let's Do Trivia! moment where the entire room groaned in unison. But strategy matters: NY...
