🌿 Maple Dale Country Club – Let’s Do Trivia – Blurb from 1/22/26 The fourth edition of Thursday night trivia at Par & Plate brought 41 players across 7 teams , a room full of loyalists and newcomers alike, and a vibe that’s slowly evolving into something special — like a signature cocktail with just the right twist. 🍸🧠 At halftime, The Men Are Driving Because the Women Are Getting Hammered led the pack with 41 points , proving once again that long team names carry long-term momentum. Angry Raisins and NY State of Minds were close behind, while Bestidos and Sunset Meadows were still warming up — possibly distracted by the sausage-stuffed mushrooms , which remain literally amazing . 🍄🔥In fact, in honor of the best mushroom I've ever put in my mouth since that Grateful Dead show at JFK stadium in '82 (I never did find my car), draw a stuffed mushroom for your Round Secret Art Bonus and earn 3 points for the effort!  The second half saw a surge from Nuclear Donuts ...

It was another great night at Maple Dale Country Club!! We had new players join us for the fun and excitement that is Let’s Do Trivia.  Angry Raisins had the best answer for the On Time Bonus to take the lead. But, by halftime, they fell to 2nd place, just one point behind The Men Are Driving Cause The Women Are Gettin’ Hammered. One Hits and Q4 were tied for 3rd. Things stayed the same for the 2nd half, but, One Hits fell to 5th place. After Final Bonus, Angry Raisins finished in 3rd, The Men Are Driving Cause The Women Are Gettin’ Hammered finished in 2nd place, and, Q4 took the 3rd place prize for the 1st place prize. There were some MIAs. Dover And Out, Rich Trivia People, The Van Goghs, and Chuck Smells Like Warm Ham were sorely missed.  THIS WEEK’S “I READ THE BLURB IN THE NEWSLETTER’ QUESTION IN ROUND 2 QUESTION 1, Draw a NCAA National Champion trophy, to shout out to Indiana, for 3 extra points!! It was a great first night at our new home, Maple Dale Country Club!! We had new players join us for the fun and excitement that is Let’s Do Trivia.  The game started with The Men Are Driving Cause The Women Are Gettin’ Hammered producing the best On Time Bonus answer. After that, Angry Raisins and Q4 joined them in the battle, and, at Halftime, the order was Angry Raisins in 1st, Q4 in 2nd, and, The Men Are Driving Cause The Women Are Gettin’ Hammered in 3rd. In the 2nd half of the game, Q4 pushed hard and lead the game as we went into Final Bonus, with Angry Raisins in 2nd, and The Men Are Driving Cause The Women Are Gettin’ Hammered in 3rd. But, then, Final Bonus reared its ugly head, and, in the end it was Q4 finishing 1st. No Right Answers moved up from last place to take the 2nd place prize (see it can happen).
